Join Leighton House for a family friendly quiz trail to discover the life and work of Frederic Leighton in his own home. Inviting all children and young people aged 6+ to take part, the trail offers a self-guided tour to interact with the collections. On your way you will discover alluring stories, see fascinating objects and learn more about life and art in Victorian times.

Solve the clue at each stop on your journey through the house and enter the competition to win a family pass for four to Sambourne House.

Audience: 6+, open to all children and young people who visit the museum on the day
Activity pack included within admission ticket (£5 for 6-18yrs) and provided at Welcome Desk
Free entry on the day for foster carers* and their children
(*) Foster carers will be kindly asked to present a letter / badge to be granted free admission

Please note that this is not a drop-off activity - booking requires an adult ticket and a separate ticket for each child.

Leighton House is owned and run by Kensington and Chelsea Council. Leighton House is one of the four finalists of Art Fund Museum of the Year 2023. The Burrell Collection was presented with the £120,000 prize - the largest museum prize in the world - by the artist Sir Grayson Perry at a ceremony at the British Museum on 12 July. The other finalists were: The MAC (Belfast), Natural History Museum (London) and Scapa Flow Museum (Orkney). The finalists for this year’s prize all demonstrated transformational impact, redeveloping their offers with diverse and inspiring stories at their heart and responding to vital issues of today.
