Jess is a recluse. Haunted by a memory of a woman being abused on a beach, she lives in fear of being attacked herself. When she opens up her home to a stranger in need, she is faced with a dilemma that turns her world upside down. Can Jess put her fears aside? Can she do it in time to save Sima?

Set in modern-day Edinburgh, SIMA blurs naturalism with the supernatural, taking us out of the ordinary and into a world that is spiritual, ancient and uncertain.

Artistically integrated captions make this play accessible for d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing audiences.
